Tags: LG , Android

Exactly one month ago, LG revealed three new additions to the G series of tablets, the G Pad 7.0, 8.0, and 10.1. The series itself was introduced late last year with the G Pad 8.3 - one of the companys first tablets in quite some time, and a robust one at that. It was able to give Samsung quite a run for its money thanks to its capable processor and high-res screen.

Fast forward to this year, where the G Pad family was expanded to cater to three additional screen sizes. Initially, LG only announced the names and sizes of the slates so we didnt really know what to expect from them, but the company has finally posted some specs.

As it turns out none of them are as great as the G Pad 8.3 - especially when it comes to display - but all three are expected to compete in the budget range of each of their size segments.

LG has highlighted its new QPair 2.0 connectivity interface, which aims to allow users to connect the G Pads with other Android-powered tablets and smartphones via Bluetooth, and get messages and calls directly on the device. Theres even going to be an SDK for QPair 2.0.

Look for the new LG G Pad 7.0 across Europe retailers this week, followed by the G Pad 8.0 and G Pad 10.1 over the next several weeks. Pricing is as yet unknown.
